I came off my bike after travelling about 10 yards on a new rear tyre. As I have 3 or 4 new rear tyres a year I know about taking it easy so I don't really know what happened. Luckily it was only about 10mph and the biggest hurt is to my pride. I feel slightly vindicated by the fact that when Baldy Rob came to pick me up from Woods of Abergele he said that the tyre felt a lot slippier than usual (obviously I agree)! The reason for writing this little bit is just to say thanks to those that have helped me through this. 1st thanks go to Bob at Buckley Tyres. He picked my bike up, made sure I was OK and poured hot coffee down my throat. Cheers mate! 2nd, Brian at Woods sorted out a quote really quickly. 3rd, my insurers, Equity Red Star, had an engineer out within a couple of days of me contacting them. He agreed to the repairs there and then. Superb service - you never get to know how good your insurance company is until you need them and I didn't even have to fill out a claim form. 4th, back to Woods and the parts were ordered straight away and the bike fixed. All this was within 2 weeks of the accident. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the above. Woods were also very good to Chop when he smashed up their 'loaner' last year. Excellent. Thanks again. Bryan
